Zamokwakhe “King Bhaka” Nzama has vehemently criticized his fellow controversial traditional healer Bhongolethu “Dr Khehlelezi” Mzozo for his ‘fake’ prophecy about the death of Ukhozi FM presenter Zanele Mbokazi.
In May this year, Dr Khehlelezi took to social media to ‘prophesy’ about the impending death of two Ukhozi FM presenters. He said one presenter was already sick and would die in hospital while the other would die in an accident, both this year.
Dr Khehlelezi’s prophecy came shortly after it had been announced that Zanele Mbokazi had been diagnosed with lung cancer. As a result, he was criticized by many people for being an opportunist. When Zanele passed away yesterday, some interpreted this as the fulfillment of his prophecy while others said it was a lucky guess that anyone who knew the seriousness of Zanele’s condition could have made.
King Bhaka is one of those who rubbished Khehlelezi’s prophecy. In a video published on social media, Bhaka berated Khehlelezi, whom he refers to as S’gujana, accusing him of being opportunistic and inconsiderate, further saying that if a person is sick, information about their condition should be kept private so that it does not reach the ears of opportunistic prophets.
According to Bhaka, who was visibly angry in the video, Khehlelezi made his fake prophecy after it was leaked that Zanele’s lung cancer was at an advanced stage, which is generally known to have a poor prognosis.
While most of King Bhaka’s followers hailed him for “telling the truth”, one commenter accused him of being disingenuous, saying the real reason he was pissed was that Khehlelezi made the prophecy first.
In August last year, Bhaka made a similar prophecy about the then impending death of a prominent person in KwaZulu-Natal at a time when 95-year-old Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi was reported to be gravely ill in hospital. Buthelezi died the following month and Bhaka posted another video indicating that his prophecy had come true.
